brand new 4 pot calipers , grooved discs , kevlar pads from £279 !!

We have tested some of the Subaru 4 pot copy calipers and found them to be pretty good , so we are now offering them in our line up.

We are offering a pair of brand new 4 pot calipers , grooved 294mm discs with painted centres , our kevlar sport pads , and pad fitting kit for £279 inc vat !

This for an outright sale , all brand new parts , and we don't want any calipers back in exchange

We can also offer the kit with stainless steel pistons , We will removed the mild steel pistons these calipers come with and replaced them with our stainless steel pistons so should go forever without problems. The kit with stainless steel pistons will be £325

This is what you get

P&P is £15.
Cheers Ian

Wow that is a good value kit :)

Godspeed Brakes 15 November 2011 07:47 PM

We can also offer them with the standard fitted mild steel pistons not our stainless steel pistons , and can offer the full kit for £279 !!

An absolute bargain :thumb:

Very cheap considering what second hand sets are going for these days ! :) :thumb: Before I stumbled upon my latest set of Brembos :D I was bidding on WRX 4 pots, but refused to go over £200 for second hand calipers from 05 cars ! :)

Godspeed Brakes 16 November 2011 09:21 PM

Yes very cheap , I normally pay £100 for seized 4 pot calipers that need reconditioning ! we have 15 pairs of brand new calipers on the shelf ready to go
Cheers Ian

Hi Ian, have you tested these calipers and iff so how did they perform and with what pads? jason

Godspeed Brakes 07 December 2011 10:56 PM

Yes I have , tried them with 3 types of pads , kevlar , bluestuff and orangestuff , they work exactly the same as the genuine subaru calipers , which is what I expected as they are exactly the same , same sized pistons ect
Cheers Ian

Scruff413 08 December 2011 09:56 AM

Hi Ian, what would you charge for a set of calipers (with stainless pistons) on their own without pads and discs?

Hi
I can supply you a pair for £235 plus £12.50 P&P
Cheers Ian

joey_turbo 08 December 2011 01:47 PM

Do you think its possible to machine the logo off the front? It shouldn't affect the calipers should it?
That is a cracking price if they work the same.

Qwertyco 20 December 2011 05:08 PM

Ian, how much for a full set of the pistons you have removed from these calipers please?

perner 08 January 2012 10:21 PM

You got PM!

Scruff413 13 January 2012 08:54 PM

Hi Ian, i PM'd you the other day, don't suppose you had a chance to have a look?

Scooby New 03 September 2012 12:49 PM

Ian, are you still supplying these calipers?

The inner pistons in my Subaru 4 pots have seized, inner face of discs are rusted as a result so presumably I will need to replace the whole lot - calipers, discs and pads.

What are my options? The car is an MY00 Classic.

Cheers,
Steve

Hi Steve
You have 2 options , either exchange your calipers for a pair of original Subaru 4 pot calipers fully reconditioned with new seals and stainless steel pistons that will never rust , along with our 294mm grooved painted centred discs and kevlar pads for £335 , or with bluestuff or orangestuff pads for £425 , we have your calipers back on an exchange basis to recondition for the next customer.
If you exchange the calipers , we also take a deposit of £125 which is refunded when you send your old calipers back to us

Or the other option is the copy WRX PRO caliper kit but this kit is now £299.50 as we have some increases in prices ourselves.

P&P is £15

Hope this helps
Cheers Ian

Thanks Ian - how much is the WRX PRO kit with stainless pistons? And if I went this route do you buy back used Subaru calipers for your refurb stock??

Godspeed Brakes 04 September 2012 12:57 PM

Hi
Yes we do buy calipers in need of reconditioning , we pay £80 a pair for them as long as the casting are not cracked , and the threads are intact.

Yes we can fit stainless pistons in the WRX PRO calipers , and its £75 extra for this

Cheers Ian

Hi Ian,
  • How much for these 4 pot calipers with Stainless pistons with BlueStuff pads and non-grooved, painted centre discs? I'm in no rush for delivery so a 2-3 day service is fine with me
  • And a price for a set of Bluestuff pads for 4pots on their own, again 2-3 day service is fine
  • Do you do braided brake lines, Hel or Goodridge etc? If so, a price for these for a Subaru Forester 2005 XT please, using standard fit rear calipers and 4pots on the front
At the moment I'm weighing up my options for some seized front calipers, so might as well upgrade to 4 pots while I'm at it
Thanks :thumb:

Hi Ian,

What would be the cost for just the calipers with pad pin kit shipped to the USA, 92677?

I've got the pads & rotors already, I just need new calipers. I imagine shipping the whole kit would be expensive. There's no way you can make a special exception?

Deano1565 29 May 2013 06:37 PM

Ian, i already have the front set, do you do a set for the rear? 51 plate blob.

Cheers.

Hello mate,

I think i may have a dodgy rear calliper, however how much for just the discs and pads, yes it is 2 pots on the rear. If i cant free of the calliper, do you sell the WRX PRO rears?

Cheers.
