Is it possible to become ,maybe momentarily, boss-eyed under stress ?

Leslie 07 November 2011 11:26 AM

Since it is easy enough to deliberately do it any time, I don't see why not.

and if you keep playing with it, it will fall off.

I've found that if I'm under abnormal amounts of stress that my vision will be effected, go blurry etc. I've never been mistaken for Clarence the boss-eyed lion however.

Get twitchy eye sometimes & seems to occur with stress. Never gone boss eyed though :lol1:

How do you know your doing it, unless your looking in a mirror. If you are looking in a mirror while cross eyed, how do you know which one your looking at :)

While we are talking about stress, is it possible for it to cause a sort of tingling feeling in the face?

Stress results in too much adrenalin in the bloodstream for too long as it's supposed to be accompanied by some sort of physical activity like running away or fighting, keeps body in fight or flight mode as does caffeine which is basically imitation adrenalin, so minimal tissue repair, depletes vit c, interferes with liver/blood sugar and vitamin absorption and messes with your circulatory system like all stimulants big time, muscles, organs and especially skin. Dunno specifics but many muscles and v small blood vessels in face so maybe see if a burst of physical activity helps. Need a hand lol ;)

Babies go cross eyed when tired, perhaps the tiredness is part of the stress?
