Fuel surge, is it happening cornering or just after taking a corner???

hi mate
i had this on my 93 classic last year , try changing spark plugs then get coilpacks checked if it still persists.

done plugs would it not show on a blink code if a coil pack was on its way out i also changed the temperature sensor it seams to happen as the car gets hot if that any clue it does it in a straight line never mind on corners

mine showed clear on blink code ????
sorry can't help mate good luck with getting it sorted :)

andybish 05 November 2011 06:08 PM

i have a blitze dump valve with a trumpet on it dunno if it works coz i get chatter but no wooosh wich i like any ways do you think this could be the problem

hi sounds like your ecu is cutting fuel probably because of over boost

andybish 13 November 2011 08:42 PM

why would it be over boosting i think its standard apart from exhaust and hks filter?

mr sti123 22 November 2011 11:50 AM

number of reasons for over boost you could have a leaky vacuum pipe from your boost solenoid so waste gate is not opening on time and also your waste gate actuator could be faulty this causes it to overboost and thus you get fuel cut which in turn feels like it is stuttering

Swap the VTA d/v for a recirculating type, see what that does.
