Ignore it. They're unenforceable! (assuming you were IN McD's private car park and not on council property!)

My missus got one in Sainsburys about 6 months ago!

We ignored that, they gave up after 3 letters and 3 'debt collector' letters!

oh i will ignore it, cheeky feckers,

We were about the last to go at 11pm and we didn't get one
Just ignore it

I'd say make sure it's not from the local council first.

At £100 I doubt its a council ticket......

looked at it last night, not from local council, from private contractor.
did a bit of research and found out that car park has been in local paper for same reason about fines.
best bit is i think maximum parking time is 2 hours and apparently i was there for 2 hours and 12 seconds, so my £100 fine is for 12 seconds over the limit.
think they will get the sticks from me for that one.

Yup as said before, ignore it! Totally unenforceable. Just ignore ANY letters sent by them and the 'debt collection' agency that will take over on their behalf!

I had one, not blackpool, but a mcdonalds car park. As mentioned, ignore at all costs. It might be tempting to get into an argument with them, but it'll only prolong the contact. Ignore, ignore, ignore.

I had one years ago for parking in the gym I ignored it and then got the letters to say the fine is going up etc then debt collectors I told them to come round you ain't getting a penny that was the end of that

As joey_turbo said ignore at ALL costs. Its sooooo tempting to get into an argument with them but resist! At the end of the day they're wasting their money by writing to you etc :lol1:
