Just thought those in the area would like to know.

Thanks for confirming that - how do you know ?

Over the last 2 months there have been at most 3 used cars on sale, no new Imprezas in the showroom and a compund full of Suzuki cheapies. The last time I was in, they were talking about the electric bill while I was waiting for spares.

Any reason why ? I would have thought that a Subaru dealer in MK had a fantastic chance of commercial success ?

Any stock (spares) being sold off cheap?

Trumble 28 April 2002 10:25 AM

They didnt say anthing about flogging the stock cheap be that parts or cars.

They still have a used P1 (25kish) and a legacy - there was an STI UK - it didnt have a price on it.

I've used them for 2 years with no problems and they were always cheaper than other dealers in the area (not that many of them really!).

Looks like one will have to use the MORE EXPENSIVE adams for the next service :(

Have to say thats the first time I've seen MORE been equated to a complete f'ing shed load of cash.

There must be another option !

Adams is actually nearer than AB for me by a few of miles. I'm not sure what my options are now - comming to the end of my 3 years (in 4 months).

Actually the mechanic at AB is setting up his own garage to service scoobs - he has done ALL my services since I got it 2.25 years ago.

I've got his details if anyones interested.

Now does it matter if the stamp in the manual is a none scoob dealer - I guess not providing that they use OEM parts as required.

Anyone ?

Dave at Risboro 4 Wheel drive is not far from you (Princes Risborough) on 01844 274652. He is Subaru trained and can service brand new cars under warranty, though he can't service 2 and 3 year old cars, as IM insist that their own dealers do those years to keep warranty. as your car is nearly out of warranty i would give him a try. He has just bought a select monitor for the later cars (from an unnamed dealer who has just closed down in the area ;))
