classic bonnet gap please
 

evening all,can anybody let me know the size of the gap between the wing and bonnet on your classics cheers:thumb:

3mm near the headlamp going to 4mm near the windscreen

ok thanks i appreciate that,mine seems to be about a mm bigger than yours but just looks bigger

any1 else care to step out into the cold with a tape measure :)

Will have a look tomorrow morning when it's light.

Near side, front/rear: 2.75mm/3.8mm

Offside, front/rear: 3.0mm/4.0mm

Measured with a vernier caliper.

Looking at it from the front, it looks spot on.

thanks for that,seems mine is 1mm bigger
could just be my eye sight and convinced myself it looks bigger
