new pads for front and rear?
recently bought my 1st scooby and the pads are a bit low all round
now ideally i would have liked to have done a bigger brake upgrade, but funds wont stretch that far atm, as wedding venue deposit comes 1st,lol seen on godspeed the kevlar fast road pads for front and rear at a total cost of around £140 seen other kevlars on other sites as well and range in price question is are they really the same or are each sellers pads slightly different? would you recommend different pads than these. car is a daily driver but do a max of 5k miles a yr and kinda on a budget of £150 max for all 4 pads cheers |
Hi
We have better deals for members on here , I can supply you our front and rear kevlar pads for £95 inc vat and delivery. We have plenty of these in stock for a next day delivery Cheers Ian 01656 723060 |
And they are well worth the money. Havn't managed to get my 4 pot front, ventilated rear set to fade yet, and I've tried LOL Work from cold too, not too dusty and not too noisy either.
Excellent value for money and huge improvement over standard :) |
Godspeed.........all the way.

cheers ian, might be in touch, need to check properly how much life mine have left in them 1st
they are for an 03 sti with gold brembo's |
for roughly your budget you'll get a set of Performance Friction Z-rated pads............best option for the Brembo's IMO at that sort of budget and will easily outperform the Kevlar or anything else at this level

What are they like for dust, Alyn? My Kevlar ones are VERY good.

alyn For every day drivers , who like to give there cars some stick now and again the kevlars are what I would fit. And are half the price of the PF pads. |
we'll have to disagree then Ian as i can only go by my experience and findings but never had any issue with cold bite apart from if they aren't "bedded" aggressively enough...........
each to their own as it can be a very subjective thing alyn |

Orangestuff
Where in the range do they fit? |
The are the newest compound from EBC and there best to date , where some real hardcore drivers were cooking the bluestuff , EBC took notice and developed a new compound to cope , and they are coping really well , the only report I have seen with negative reviews is from a GT-R owner who is known for being a track animal , and although he didn't have any fading issues , he did go through a set of pads using a full tank in one session in silverstone !
Good review here http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=388655 These pads will be added to my website this weekend , and we will be offering them in deals with discs on here this weekend. I did put a thread up about them a month ago on here https://www.scoobynet.com/trader-ann...-in-stock.html Cheers Ian |
