Newage dash removal

Hi guys,

I have got a flocked dash coming from TingtongPJ next week. Can any of you give me some pointers as to how to remove the dash ie any hidden bolts to find etc

Thanks in advance. :thumb:

There's loads but ince you start they quite easy to identify. The biggest pain is the strip along the bottom of the screen as you need to unplug the alarm sensor but there's not much spare cable. There's also three bolts for the passenger airbag. You'll need to be logical, glove box out, centre console out etc to make way to the all the dash fixings:thumb:

I'll be getting in touch with Phil once the car is back and I get paid again:D

You still going for the head lining and visors?

JonMc 28 October 2011 08:50 PM

I've trimmed the head-lining in red suede - not perfect but it'll do for now.

Getting the roof flap surround, grab handles, sun visors, A, B and C pillars, glove box, speedo surround, steering cowling and the panel under the steering wheel all done in black (plus any other bits I find):D

Not too much then. :lol1:

I think i will get the lower part of my dash done in the future but the top will be enough for now.

Are you still picking you bug up this weekend?

Once that lot is done the interior will be finished along with the bodywork, just chassis and engine left:D

Getting it a week tomorrow:thumb:

Awesome, bet you are chomping at the bit to get behind the wheel of it again.

You are going to flock the chassis and engine ;)
