Dynamo:Magician Impossible

On Watch (Sky 109)

Anyone seen him?
Young scrawny magician from Bradford.

Puts his hand through glass without breaking it, twists a mobile phone in half and back again.

How the friggin Hell does he do it?
Brilliant.

mind boggling isn't it. Sadly I belive nothing I do not see for my own eyes... anything on camara can be fixed... there is one trick he does where the coin ends up on the guys sholder.. rewind the TV and you will see the coin there from the start.

Not sure how he gets the mobile in the bottle but the chap stood behind him swaps bottles (empty one for one with mobile in it) if you look in slow mo.

TX.

I clocked that one too, bought the dvd now so I can try and figure out the other ones, I think the moblie phone one is a cover that he slides on and then round to make it look twisted, also notice that he always picks the coin he wants from a selection of change, all very clever

Didn't see that one, but in my opinion, the one where he "pushed" the coin through the glass table, it looked liek the coin was already under the table in the close uip to me...

Almost all tricks like this rely on two things - sleight of hand and misdirection.

The polo one on Buzzcocks was easy.

He clearly ate a polo and you could hear him crunching it up. But he took TWO polos out of the packet and palmed one of them. He then threaded it onto the chain that he then wrapped in his throat skin.

Well done but easy once you know how.

I still love great leger de main - seen close up and you have no idea how they do it. It is a genuine craft and almost all the tricks are based on one or two simple skills that are a bugger to master.

One of the best I have seen is the wonderfully sweary Gerry Sadowitz

Here is a great example of a very basic trick being very appealing to Scoobynetters ;)

Hanky Panky - NSFW

Where does she put that hanky?!

zip106 26 October 2011 10:42 AM

How did he walk through the glass window?

markb_s1 26 October 2011 10:45 AM

the bouncer on the right hand side backed towards the other guys holding the coat and he snuck out using him as cover.
if you look at the exterior shot of the bar, there's the window with the motorbike on the far right, then the window he allegedly escaped through, then the door...

he ducked down, snuck behind the bouncer, then out the door and "reappeared" from below the level of the jacket outside.

Not watched that specific program - will do it tonight

I have seen quite a few of his tricks though.

Very feasible.

And what about putting his hand through the glass case and pulling the bracelet out?

:)

All down to camera trickery & audience / actor participation.

No Magic in this at all.

(very well put together tho)

Where does she put that hanky?!

That trick uses a false and hollow thumb held in the fist. Then she pushes the hanky into it and her last move will always be a final push with her thumb. This pushes the false thumb onto her thumb and then shake the hands in the air so the audience never get a good look.

Hope that makes sense.:thumb:

wot do people expect lol

magic isnt actually real.

hes good at slight of hand and general entertainment - but the set-ups make him loose a bit of credability
