***Oct 2011 KSport big brake kit group buy***

UPDATE 19/10/11 Last chance to order your kit in 2011!!! Prices WILL be going up for 2012.

It should be possible to upgrade the 330mm and 356mm kits to floating rotor design for an extra £200, Im just checking prices.

The kits

We have been selling and dealing with the KSport brake kits for 6 years now. We have sold tens of thousands of kits and they have proven themselves time and time again both on road cars running through the depths of winter and on full blown race cars running silly power. They are reliable, durable, effective and extremely well priced.

Im going to be placing a sea order at the end of this month. The shipment should be here early January. By adding your order to the sea order you get to choose the colour of your calipers and specify floating rotors as an option should you want to do so. Black, red, orange or yellow. They all feature an engraved KSport logo in the side of the caliper.

The offer prices are as below:

286mm 6 pot £675
304mm 6 pot £675
330mm 8 pot £699
356mm 8 pot £799
380mm Super 8 pot £1599 (retail £1995)
400mm Super 8 pot £1999 (retail £2595)

Rear prices are the same as the front but only the 330mm and above will work with the original drum handbrake and you need to add £99 to the 330mm and above front kit price to cover the more expensive rear handbrake design. E.g. rear 330mm kit is £699 + £99 = £798.

Prices include vat.

What do you get?

Pair of high quality grooved rotors
Pair of aluminium bells
Pair of mounting brackets
Pair of braided brake lines
Pair of 8 pot calipers
Full mounting kit

Basically everything you need except brake fluid and pads.

The deal price is ONLY available if you buy a set of pads at the same time. If you dont see the pads you want then just ask :)

I posted this on the old thread but it probably belongs here:
Couple of questions
If i put 330mm 8pots on the front of my newage but leave the standard 2 pots on the rear am i going to get problems?
And i take it they will fit behind standard wheels?
I don't need the braided lines either so could you knock a few quid off the kit without them?
Thanks

KrisBuc 23 October 2011 08:54 PM

No, very few 17" wheels will clear 356mm. On an Impreza you can take it as read that youll need 17s for 330mm and 18s for 356mm.

Unless you are going for a strong offset and wide rims, i.e. et20 and 8.5+" wide minimum.

Steve_PPP 04 November 2011 12:37 AM
