Absolute '0' knock correction correct ?

Hi all,

Just been out to check some data and make sure everything was working as should via ecuExplorer on my std Year '00 Turbo UK.

Had the cable attached throughout various driving speeds & loads etc, even onto the motorway wounding up to a legal speed in 3rd - but all thoughout I had absolute '0' knock correction, is this normal ?

All other sensors seem working fine & no codes stored (apart from 12 that randomly comes up now & then  )

Thanks in advance,

I believe it is normal (I'm just learning so await confirmation) but it means that the ECU isn't pulling any timing because of knock.

Cheers for the reply Paul,

Had a feeling that was the case - had it in my mind that the Knock Sensor may not be working, but I guess if not the CEL would be on.
