Yeah, I bought a genuine roof lining which had a surround on it still so had a few spares but did give a few away, there is a box in the car that if I have any left they will be in

martin850 20 October 2011 08:54 PM

I have got a genuine Spec C roof vent on my WRX bugeye and it is by far one of the best mods I have done.

Yours looks  mate :thumb:

JonMc 20 October 2011 10:02 PM

I've only done 3, but it is the best mod I've done cosmetically:thumb:

There's a challenge! I presume any flap will fit, type RA etc. on a newage? Just depends on the hole!

JonMc 20 October 2011 10:17 PM

The bracketry is different between newage and classic vents and the can't easily be interchanged:wonder:

philS scooby 20 October 2011 10:20 PM

i also need the plastic screw things...

fitted mine my self try doing it with the head lining still in as i couldnt take it out as i welded my cage in : (

nesf.co.uk have one for sale £250.

You are just making this difficult now!! I presume if the full kit is bought, it wont matter?

The flaps and trim appear to be the same for both, but the roof and strengtheners must be different hence why the brackets are different:wonder:

I expect they could be made to work though:thumb:

spec c roof vent is diff to type r. type r to newage will be easyier, but there harder to fit than spec c's roof vents
