Dealer, LARGE price:(

There was a guy about 2 months back posted that he was going to get some made, around £100 a side, LOADS of interest, I had THREE bodyshops in town near me interested, but he never followed through, and PMs and responses to his thread drew no response, so we can only think he was p!ssing in the wind.

I thought I seen somethin a while back but couldn't find it again. Does the dealer do a back arch or is it the whole 1/4 panel.

Nasty, now that would put a dent in the bank account as I need both sides. It's lookin like visiting a scrap yard

mate vists a place breaking imprezas ( ****ing loads at the moment) and ideally drill from the spot welds then decide where you need from

another thought,,,, take a look at how many type R shells there is for sale at the min so you be better off reshelling into a 3 door and help increase the value of the car in the long term

You have a good point ginge. Have the car 6 years now and a wee bit attached pop, would break my heart to reshell it but always a good option.

mate i love my STI, ive had it almost 5 years now but its value is dropping major and reshell into a 3 door just seems a better option as mine has a few bits that need tidying up like stone chips ect and you can prob get one of the type R shells on here for a grand cash i recon

im tempted to get one in white so i got no hassle as i got later bumpers already and STI lamps

i was gonna fit a carbon roof to my car this year but i think ill buy one and sit on it till i get a type R shell

It's not a kit, they are actual replacement rear arches.

But they ARE fibreglass.

So you have differential expansion and flexibility.

Noy on my car, thanks.

Im having terrible problems getting hold of rear arches for my sti my99. I have seen rear arches for the estate version. Is it possible to buy them and cut what i need.
