Shark Handler

Saw this posted on another forum and decided to share it here. Pretty awesome thing to watch, especially towards the end.

"There's a place on Grand Bahama called the Underwater Explorers Organisation (UNEXO). Their chief diving instructor is called Cristina. She lives on yoghurt and lives to dive, and doesn't have much of a social life, but she is one of the best in the business. She does cave diving, night dives, wreck dives. lately, since they banned feeding the sharks in Florida, she does it as part of a show now and again in Freeport. I have been out there with her and as long as you remain still, you are OK. But someone decided to do a video of her feeding the sharks.
The dramatic part is at the end. Evidently, she has figured out the shark's weak spot....The last 45 seconds are really dramatic."

This is something i need to do before I die! (dive with sharks). I have loved them since I was young, and have probably seen every documentary about them. At the end of that video she is getting the shark in a state of catatonic immobility. It is usually only when the shark is completely upside down that it shows it, but due to the chain mail gloves she is wearing, they are blocking out the electrical currents the shark picks up through its nose.
This can also be done with great whites (if you can get close enough! ;) ).

And if you've got a few body parts to spare....:D

If you get eaten by said sharks will that count being ticked off the "to do before you die" list? And who will tick it off?

Impressive.

I think she is incredibly brave to risk her life amongst so many wild creatures.

I have been known to push my luck a few times but I could not bring myself to do that.
