Anyone used any spray shops in Northamptonshire?
 

My scoob is mica blue (95H) and i've almost given up looking for used parts now. Nothing ever seems to come up in my colour. Wish i had a rally blue one!! haha

So i've been looking for paint shops in the Northamptonshire area but its very hard to find reviews etc.

Hopefully someone can help me :thumb:

STOP! - Just spoken to Dave who owns CMC and they have stopped doing panel and paint - i asked him who he would recommend/use and he said Mend A Bend.

Dave is one of the most stand up blokes i know and if he recommends them then i would not hesitate to use them.

These guys are top notch, subaru recommended them to me (they do all subaru's body work). They did my STI spoiler and window spoiler. I would recommend them

If you dont mind me asking, how much should it cost for a an sti spoiler?

Im still unsure whether to buy an aftermarket one ready for paint or a genuine 2nd hand one that would need stripping and painting.

I think I paid about £350ish (could be wrong) which included a little prep.

As long as you pay for them to prep the aftermarket spoiler, it will look good. Ignore the fact they come primed, they still need work.

Best thing is to call them, Paul is the owner and Julian is his top man. They will advice on stripping etc.

Genuine spoilers will be better quality.

Do any of the above paint shops offer paintless dent removal? I've got two very small but very annoying car park dings that I want taken out but i'm very careful about who I let loose on my car.

I don't know if this helps, give subaru a call. They normally outsource their bodywork. If they use another bodyshop, they should be a good one

Know a chap called Andy. He is mobile and is from rushden but will come out to Northants maybe further. He does all Aston martins work. He charges £30 a panel. When the sods walked all over my roof still only cost me £30. Also my nozzle came off my jetwash and fired into the bonnet and dented it and a dink in door still only charged me 30. Honestly best dent guy you will ever come across.

But does he only do PDR though? Will he do conventional rubbing/filling/sanding/painting work too?

Well he was at Buckingham this morning, so I should think he'd travel. It's worth giving him a call. He only does PDR (He actually specialises in steel, aluminium and magnesium!), but knows good people that he would reccomend for other bodywork needs.

He is VERY good at his job though and does ALL of Aston Martin's work for them, including multi-million pound prototypes and classics! :luvlove:
