Poorboys nattys blue paste over blackfire all finish paint protection???
Some advice would be appreciated.
I've got a metallic black hawkeye. Having read the polished bliss guides it seems the way forward is menzerna 203s followed by blackfire all finish protection. The next step they recommend if you have the monies is blackfire midnight sun paste. Sounds great but the last step is £55 a tub! The alternative they suggest is the poorboys range. I was wondering if you could mix, how well the products would work and how good the finish would be?? I was thinking 203s, blackfire all finish protection then poorboys nattys blue paste as a cheaper method?? Any thoughts or advice?? My aim is to get several months protection. I've heard car covers are pretty bad for paintwork and the best preparation for winter is a decent layer(s) of protection/wax. All comments appreciated. Thanks! |
For longevity, Collinite 476 is the best value wax/ sealant.
I've used Natty's Blue previously and its nowhere near as longlasting as Collinite. |
thanks for the reply. could that be used after the blackfire protection as the plast layer??
does it matter if your changing products and layering?? compatible? |
just ordered some collinite!

Not sure the combo will work with the Blackfire wax then sealant? Will go hologram looking etc otherwise.

Decided on the 203s then the collinite on top (couple of layers!!). That should see me well past winter and then maybe I'll have a re-think about the blackfire. You're right, I dont think blackfire then collinite will work......polishedbliss said something similar....to do with the polymers of blackfire....they make it very difficult for any other compound or product to be used on top.
