I thought about de locking the front doors on my01 UK300. Can it just be a case of replacing the front handles with rear ones. If so how easy is this to do?

Thanks
Steven

ive got a coach bolt head where the lock was on my my94...

Back door handles dont fit... (they dont on the early ones.)

I removed the locking rod that goes between the door lock and the barrel and got some self adhesive fake brushed aluminium and stuck it over the lock and put it back in the handle. Looks good and is way cheaper than buying new handles

Ali B,
Have you got any photos of what it looks like?

Cheers

Thanks for the phots David.
I'm not sure what this would look on colour coded handles. Is this a problem for the MOT? I heard that for the MOT they require a mechanical way of entering the car rather than electrical.

will pass mot... as it has a handle... should look fine on colour coded handles as it looks like a silver lock...
