its all personal choice, some have good experience others have bad.

i personally use a company www.paisleyfreight.co.uk

they are from glasgow, however i get stuff from london picked up and what not and they just sub contract to TNT/Citylink and others.

they have a good quoting system for car parts.

and they are cheaper than most.

Only use royal mail for items UNDER 2kg.

You can send a 25kg parcel, up to 4 ft square in size, door to door in the uk for £7 via www.interparcel.com so never EVER use the post office for heavy items.

When you think you have wrapped it well, then give it another layer.

I recieved a Prodrive spoiler over a month ago, it was very well wrapped, but three corners had went through the wrapping and the paint chipped off.
I have contacted DHL severel times to claim the insurance, but they haven't showed up yet to inspect the package and I am not allowed to open the package before they have a look at it.

That sucks :brickwall

me brother works for a removals company so he says he can get me plenty of bubble wrap. am hoping people who and if buy the parts could maybe arrange own collection but if needs be i could arrange it for them. as for engine and gearbox i can get a hold of a transit van to deliver it mysel.

cheers
