hi all

well i need to remove the interior carpet form ver 8 sti anyone got a step by step guide. are they glued/fixed down or jsut pinned arrrr please help much appreciated.

Disconnect battery (not sure if you have to but it sounds good:D)

Unplug the plug that comes from your underneath drivers seat might be one under passengers seat as well.
Front Seats out 4x 14mm bolts each seat. before removing put the seats in the forward position makes it easier to get through the door hole
Rear seat base out 2x 12mm
Front plastic door foot trims have a plastic plug in the inside of foot wells pop them out (1 each foot well) and pull trims up and out.
Centre console out, tug on the piece under the hand brake should pop up then you can see the screws holding the rest of the middle console in. (dont use a screw driver as it will mark them)
Look for the plastic flat head caps on the carpet in foot wells (unscrew them)
Under rear seat there's 3/4 plastic flat caps at the edge of the carpet prize out.
Out it comes,
mind when your taking the carpet out of car don't rub it on your paint work, the underneath its rough, it will scratch your paint work
