1st years Anniversary...

HELP! my wife showed me the calander to say that our anaversery may be the 7th of Oct but it's only a week away and she hopes I have something planned...:cuckoo:

No I thought..:lol1: I was thinking it's next month plenty of time... Oups!

So I could do the cheesy wait till she comes home from work on the Friday, she works in London so won't be home untill about 7pm or should I book dinner down in London?

I know she wants to see Ghost the musical but I don't know when thats showing?

So what do you think I should do. what did you do?:thumb:

I went to "Ghost the Musical":Whatever_:rolleyes::Whatever_:rolleyes: :Whatever_ what a dull experience that was.... at half time some fat bird farted at the bar and nearly cleaned the whole place out!

Doesn't she fancy a new Xbox instead? :thumb:

Book a hotel in town, somewhere nice, meet her from work in a cab, pack her bag for her enjoy dinner and a night in town. Job sorted - did this once for one of the exes - dont let that put you off, it was alright on the night.

Flowers & Chocolates, that's it.

It's the thought that counts. :thumb:

Couldn't you even try to think of a less original gift ?

Hysteria1983 27 September 2011 01:33 PM

Just something small and thoughtful. Buy some flowers and choccys, then cook or order in her favourite meal that night.

You don't want to go making a big statement she expects you to top every year.

P.s I have just bought a shed load of card making stuff if you want a personalised card? :wink wink:

Allow her not to cook that night as a treat :D

Get a take away

Dont forget the Anniversary card !!!

Probably best you get someone else to write it for you ;)

Traditionally your first anniversary is a 'paper' gift (each anniversary for the first few years has a theme) so you could buy her a gift voucher for a salon/ spa and tell her of the paper thing, that might get brownie points.
Or buy her a book, the Kama Sutra is a good read :)

Bonus! Giver her a few notes and tell her to go shopping! :)

Seriously though, the spa voucher is good, or a mani/pedi type thing. If she would appreciate it anyway.
