o5 blobeye wrx lightweight parts/strip fat
 

im new on here and am happy with all the tuning advice that i have read through the archives, what id like to know is there any companys that sell lightweight parts as the blobeye has put the pounds on am i right in saying my wrx blobeye weighs 1360 kg and could i get it down to 1200 with most of my interior comforts in! cheers.

most common lightweight parts are pulleys but used to lower inertia rather than weight saving, change front seats to carbon buckets will save a quite bit, lighter wheels/calipers and two piece discs will help but again usually used to improve handling, removing aircon is common as it also helps handling as the compressor is on the front of the engine and is very heavy, bonnet/boot already ally, some change to a small battery but the blob is heavy as it's much stiffer than the classic but this makes it much safer in a crash encap 4 star i think.
