Gauge calli help

I have nearly finished installing a set of stepmaster gauges and am stuck on how to change the display lights from bright at night and dull during the day (dimmer fitted just want reverse the effect ), the boost also sits at -25 on idle and on boost goes up to 0 on boost :( ???? .... Does anyone know how to calibrate them ???

Cheers :)
Thanks :)

Have you tried the boost gauge on the road? It will do what you say on the drive, but behave differently on the road;)

Can't help with lighting prob, sorry.

Try a search on here for Stepmaster gauges, or under whatever product name they are, eg: Prosport.

Or even Google, I know you can get Defi instructions from the Defi site.

You want them dull at night, and bright during the day. Is that what you are asking?
What model/year car?

How do they wire up? Are you sure the senders are fitted and wired correctly? WHERE are the senders?

If you used a plastic sandwich plate, or it, ot ther oil filter, have a thick gasket, you will have to organise an earth return for the senders, they can't earth to the engine through the plastic?

A wire from each to engine, or battery -ve will/should solve it.

Should be, I don't know though. I thought you may hav had a classic, could have used the bright switch for a connection.

They are all wired up correctly they so start up and shut down sequences correctly and they go bright when the lights are turned on ,,, this is what i want to reverse ... And no sandwich plate all connected properly with main earth from the pod to ciggy lighter .... Just still stuggling to get the oil pressure gauge to work now , it's hovering up at 8-9 engine running and not running :( ... Cheers for the help guys :)
