Short block built by API
2.1 built into a 2.0 ODB (still good for 500+)
New Lateral Wiseco pistons
New Lateral rods
New ACL race series bearings
New ej257 crank
New RCM timing belt guide
New ARP Head studs
New API modified oil pump
New genuine subaru water pump
New block seals etc

Frayz engineering built heads
v5/v6 Sti heads
New Supertech in and ex valves (black nitrided stock size)
New Cosworth 272 cams
New Cosworth single valve springs
New genuine subaru 1.6mm multilayer steel Head gaskets
New seals throughout.

All of the above has never been run so all is still brand new.
Also has gates kevlar timing belt, new tensioner and idler pulleys.

I see your point, but there has never been any proper proof of an ODB being a cause of issues at high horsepower. That is why i decided to stick with the ODB.

Main reason would be the under piston oil squirter's mate,the OBD is with the right internals such as the above a reliable and much cheaper option for anything up to 550bhp.

Because it is all about doing as much that's possible to prevent failure and the CDB has more surrounding material around the cylinders.

Under piston oil squirters are just another helping hand.

If i was going for 550+, i would of been happy to run my block but had it pinned.

Met simon a few years back after i broke my own car and he bought some parts from me and have watched whilst his dream build has gone along and i know its a hard decision to make...good genuine guy...

I see what your saying but it's only been for sale for two weeks, so if i have to sit on it for a couple of months then i would rather get 4000 or close to it than wait ages and get 3500 :thumb:
