SNet Calendar

Would anyone be interested in a SNet calendar?

We could get everyone to submit a new photo of their cars (has to be new). That way we could invoke some life into the forum and also people get to buy a scooby calendar.

We can get an entry from everyone then create a poll to find the best 12 shots.

So the question is, would you be willing to part in a small fee for a limited run calendar?

I'd buy one but wheee would the proceeds go?

MattyB1983 16 September 2011 10:51 AM

I'd buy one..
The GTIR-OC do this every year and it's very popular.

I would have thought we would do it for cost. If not we could run it through WMI and get H to get all proceeds to charity. Every WMI meet we donate to charity per car.

What you need to decide is -
1 - Size
2 - How many pages 6 or 12 with a title sheet etc
3 - who pics the pictures for the pole?
4 - cliquey (sp?) who s in and whos out
5 - mixed styles of scoobs from the plain ****e out the factory to the wild with kits etc or action shots.

Its never ending the list with the about of people who thinks there car is better than the one picked.

It would be easier running a thread of Photos only no chat of pics of members scoobs etc then pick at least 20 photos for the poll and hopefully get it sorted that way.

just my thoughts and ideas.

Ricey

Done one before a few years back for the scooby club I used to run and it was easier because of th esmall number of members at the time.

Would the SNet CD-ROM come with it as well? :D

I was thinking an A4 calendar with 12 months.

I agree the whole click thing could pose a problem but I don't see it stopping us picking the best 12 pictures.
