My alarm was goin off on work car park. Went out no hazards flashing. Alarm keeps going off if i lock unlock hazards flash but alarm still goin off if i disarm. Ive had take bat neg off as cant stop it. Any ideas any1?

flat battery?

No mate bat fine. I even started car and it kept goin off. Door would lock and unlock off fob but alarm wouldnt disarm and no flashing indicators with alarm. Ive reconected alarm and its not gone off since?

I'm having battery issues tonight! If the alarm goes off doesn't it have another power source? Or will disconnecting the negative turn it off?

Depending on the alarm type, some have a battery back up and will activate if the alarm connection cable is cut, ( tamper proof )

Usually an alarm is activated if there is a decrease in battery volatge, it is a feature that allows the alarm to tell if someone opens the door, as the interior light comes on.

What sort of alarm is it?

Factory unit, the battery is low as I went to turn it over this evening but it wont turn over. Hoping its just the battery! But don't want the alarm to go off in the night and not be able to disarm it.
