Older Sony camcorder, where to get drivers?
Hi, I have a Sony NV-TRV 16E, one of the later DV camcorders.
My lad wants to use it film trials stunts and put them on you-tube, but we can't find the software that came with it, and Sony don't seem to list the drivers anymore. Plugging it into the PC, it won't recognise what you have plugged in. Anyone got the drivers, or have any idea where I could get them? Bit of a longshot, but hey....... TIA |
Ever heard of a little website called google?
:D |

No mate, never use it myself now. And my lad can't afford them, having been out of work most of 2010, he's still paying off debts.

I never bothered using the pc cables.
Yellow red and white onto a Scart, and into my DVD recorder jobs a goodun. |
Yep, works into DVD, but the 'puter refuses to recognise it:rolleyes:

I`ve got a TRV-38. It doesnt connect to pc with usb but works fine with firewire :) No drivers needed.

Might work, what would I need to buy, a firewire?

Should have had the cable with the camera. If not, have a look on fleabay. You also need an input on your laptop or pc. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FireWire
