Depends on what has been done to it?

If all the cats are still in place you could gain a bit but if these were removed, 2 after the turbo and 1 in the up-pipe going to the turbo,

Then with a new set of plugs and a fuel pump and an uprated panel filter(all for approx (£150), then getting it mapped(opensource £300 ish) you are looking around the 280bhp mark, This is what the original TD04 turbo will max out at(280-290).

So if you want more than this it is then a turbo swap(VF35 £300ish 2nd hand) and intercooler swap (Newage STI £150ish 2nd hand) which will take you to approx 330bhp but the gearbox might be living on borrowed time at this point depending on how much of a good life it has had and possibly a clutch too,

Things tend to start costing quite a bit after this(ie £1,5k to £2k gearbox + clutch & fitting) so if you need a 6 speed box budget for around the £2-2.5k fitted with a new clutch

Dont just get a manual boost controller and wind the boost up as it will be a matter of time before something goes bang.
