WEATHERPROOFING UNUSED MAF CONNECTOR...???

As title, what sort of methods are people using to insulate their permanently disconnected MAF connector (after going Simtek, Syvecs route, etc.)?

Would heatshrink wrap work?

Thing is, the smallest size I can find is 120 x 83mm - too big? Will it still shrink around the connector/cable, even if you have to wrap the heatshrink around over on itself a few times? Or won't it 'take', when you apply the heat?

Any suggestions, welcome....

use the smallest heat shrink you can find then use some black silicone to seal the gap

Cheers. :)

I don't s'pose you know where I could get hold of appropriate sized heatshrink then? :D

When i was in maplins last they had some good sized cuts of heatshrink, not sure if its the size you need, but if its too big,the silicone route is good
