What about asking the Ace Cafe if we can meet up there and use their car park for about an hour to group up then convoy down??

As they'll be 700 cars parking up inside I reckon an early morning set off is in order to make sure on gettin a good spot?

Plus empty roads early doors on a Sunday means... umm... no traffic... ;)

what route you looking to take from Ace Cafe?

I guess the A40 and M25 would be the easiest.

If its an early enuf start, being a Sun morning the roads could be clear and we could even go more direct thru Kew, Richmond, Twickenham and then lay our trust in the good old sat nav to guide us in the final stretch A roads?

Or more straight forward, direct and quicker, follow the A406 from Ace Cafe to the M4 then get on the M25?
