Always used it in my scoobs and never had a problem, good stuff imo.

colebags 23 August 2011 08:32 PM

ye tesco stuff is ok mate dont get asda 99 ron tho i dont seem to get as many miles on there stuff

NINJA ED 23 August 2011 08:39 PM

Tesco generally doesnt seem to be too bad but Aberdeen tesco has had few incidents where theres been water in their tanks so we just stick with v power.

Cammy5106 23 August 2011 08:53 PM

I use tesco 99 in my bike it runs well on it but must admit I stick to V power with the scoob

Run a classic for three years, and bugeye for two + (both sti) with no problems, Tesco stuff uses octane boosters I think, so would only use it if it was a daily drive rather than a weekend/trackday car:thumb:

My car is mapped for T99/Momentum as was the Spec C before it :thumb:

TX.

my car is mapped for v-power, but been using momentum99 for 2 years with no noticable difference.

listen to some people though, especially on pistonheads, you would swear the choice is super-magical V-Power or momentum99, which is not really petrol, but tesco no frills stuff made from old turps and donkey piss.

Lol all of mine were mapped on 99 :) V-power used to give more flamage on gearchange but nearest Shell is 15 miles away compared to 1 mile to Tescos :)

Turbo Tez 24 August 2011 05:40 AM

Tesco and shell here, no problems or noticeable difference with either.

LewisL 24 August 2011 12:40 PM

I have used this for most of the tanks in my scoob & no problems!
