Hi there

Yes is possible to fit yours bailey dv on FMIC,just contact here Harvey for adapter for yours DV.

Yes you can run without the DV,but mainly depends which turbo you have fitted and if its will be safe on longer run.

Just block hose and bung DV....

But i would recommend run off the boost until your car is mapped or get this remapped asap for safe reasons.

ok thanks for that

Turbotits 20 August 2011 06:47 PM

As a temp measure you can run without one. Depandand on the turbo your using and how fragile it is or isnt. You could remain without one

ta mate think its a td05 with ugraded actuator its a 2000 turbo but has few bits off a sti not 100% tho as its my first scooby and am just learnin will be getting the adapter but will take few days in post

Turbotits 20 August 2011 06:54 PM

Td05 should be fine without a dump valve. Ive been running without one for over 2 years. I assume your cars mapped for all the mods you have? If not dont cane it or run any boost till it is.

richscoobylove84 20 August 2011 06:58 PM

not sure only had it a month last owner said it had this and that but i dont know if he was just sayin half the stuff just to sell it am in the middle of havin it looked tho will it need to be remapped with the fmic or will it just run as b4 probley sound well stupid now lol

Will need mapping for front mount to get the max benifit from it. At a minimum it needs to be checked properly for fueling, boost etc or you maybe risking your engine

richscoobylove84 20 August 2011 07:07 PM

ok mate thanks for ur help il look into it monday asked about and most places wont touch the 2000 turbo they only do wrx or sti 1 place said they would do it upgrade the fuel pump and put platinum plugs in for 700 thought it was abit pricey but if i have got to have it with the fm il do it

Turbotits 20 August 2011 07:29 PM

What year is the car? Many on here will map it dependant on the year will or may point to who you chose and where your from will help. We can then give you some pointers on who or what to use

richscoobylove84 20 August 2011 07:36 PM

oh right kool ,car a x reg 2000 year and i am in rainham kent mate

Turbotits 20 August 2011 07:48 PM

Ok ecutek on the original ecu. Jollygreenmonster.co.uk is probably your nearest. If its been mapped before you wont need a licence. Or if you want to spend more theres after market ecu's available
