Could you not just drive it off boost if its for a short time? Or wait and fit it when you're getting it mapped?

I'd like to but it's booked for 2 different times and was told actuator boost was the safest way till mapped

Hi

When I had my VF43 fitted I drove my car off boost and it was fine.... until it was remapped..

Thanks

You just need to temporarily bypass the boost solenoid by fixing a bit of vac tube directly between compressor nozzle nipple and w/g act. nipple - hey presto, will never go past c.0.5bar/7psi. :)

But as said, it's really not the hardest thing in the world to use no boost via a tempered right foot (esp. if a boost gauge is fitted)...
