Boost guage?

What do you guys use? I know defi is probably the best (& most expensive!), just wondering if you use others & if they're any good?

Cheers, TX.

I have used a tim ,a prosport ,apexi & a blitz over the last 2 years.I found the blitz to be pretty accurate when comparing it to the one bob rawle was using when he mapped my car.I am currently using a lamco boost gauge which was an option back in japan as it is smaller than the normal boost gauges and situated on my steering cowl without hindring me seeing any of the clocks.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I would love to see what that looks like. Could you post a picture?

Got stack gauges in mine.

Relatively cheap, especially compared to Defi's and seem to be accurate.

I use a total crapper(a motor meter affair :shudder:) in conjunction with my PSI3 and it is pretty accurate.

My Defi shows about 0.2 bar ABOVE the one Bob Rawle used over the whole range. Probably could be calibrated, but hey, I know what it's doing.

I was use before Prosport Stepper gauge, which has been OK,PSi3 monitor has been spot on.
Now i'm using Shadow Pro gauges

Here is nice test of Boost Gauges

i have prosport steeper gauges in mine

Interesting my defi was high too, just over 1 psi at 1 bar, was not that impressed.
I use low cost gauges now , just for indication, I compare to calibrated guage when getting a map and just make sure nothing changes.

I have GloShift gauges in my car (and previous Nissan). Look smart and seem to be accurate with no probs :thumb:

Will the above fit & work as sold or do I need anything else  Thinking of going with Stack for boost, oil temp & pressure ...

Cheers, TX.
