Saving text messages from a mobile
 

Hi

My partner has just renewed her phone and she wants to keep the text messages from the old mobile...is there any easy way,to put them onto the new phone..can the messages be put onto the memory card and transferred over?..or would it be easier to bluetooth them all over..think theres only 150 odd to do :-)....the old phone is a Nokia x3-02..as is the new one lol....Any help muchos appreciated :):)

save them to the sim card then copy over

Would that work as there is a new sim card in the new phone?...old network was vodaphone,new one is orange?

What is it with Wimins and saving txts?

Does the phone come with a data cable? Nokia provide software which I think can backup/restore data?

Ovi Suite, or PC Suite, from Nokia. CD comes with phone but download the latest. This'll do the job. Oh, but you'll need a pc as well ...

Can't understand keeping texts myself. They get deleted asap.
