2005 wrx uk car- alarm / immobiliser ??
 

Okay guys, 2005 wrx blobeye , uk car, should it have an alarm / immobiliser as standard ??

there is no sensor in the drivers side pillar, no keypad under steering wheel area or glovebox, when you lock the car with the key you get the clunk noise and the indicators flash but thats it no chirp etc, opening the boot first with the key whilst the car is locked by remote does not sound the alarm as have been advised happens on the standard Sigma alarm ??

so okay have I / should I have an alarm / immobiliser on the car as standard ??

If it is an import prob not uk spec should be ( but no gntee )
if you can open boot and no siren i would say no
