Cocker 31 August 2011 04:10 PM

just turn up Sunday between 8.30-10am to sign on mate

ShotgunUK 31 August 2011 04:41 PM

thanks chap, might do that. Was going to go to santapod on Saturday but tbh by the time I factor in the fuel and added stress on my car I'm thinking that Weald is probably the more sensible option.

Cocker 31 August 2011 06:29 PM

lol yeah North Weald is no Santa Pod but yes for us locals its a 5 mile round trip, not 160!

NO.:D

I'm dropping out too. Was expecting delivery of my new clutch on friday, and it didn't turn up. It was slipping badly last time, and has got much worse.
Have fun.

ShotgunUK 04 September 2011 07:37 PM

I went to the pod instead..and got hammered at vw action :)

Ran 13.8 then 13.1@106 which wasn't bad for my first ever and tbh I'm reasonably happy considering I still have a VF29 and standard injectors :)

Funniest part of the weekend was when the electric beetle running against me on run 2. It did 10.1 seconds and quite literally left me for dead lol...I feel honoured to have been beaten so soundly by such an awesome vehicle :)

It was quite poorly attended, probably the least number of people I've seen there! The rain came during the lunch break which pretty well finished action for the day.
