Speck of dirt behind watch glass
 

Had my Nixon 51-30 a few weeks and today noticed a speck of dirt on the inside of the glass. Nothing major I know but now I know it's there it's annoying me.

Reckon they would clean it under warranty?

Had this on my TAG and it was done under warranty though I think it comes down to who serves you in the shop. I was OK as my daughters friend is assistant manager where I took mine.

It'll pay me not to look properly, I've just looked at some pics I took one the day I bought it and it's clearly there.

havent you got a local horologist? thats all I would do, it will only be a basic cost.

Can't you just take the watch face off yourself and get rid of the spec of dirt as most are a doddle to take off.

Sounds as that you have a very good case to ask them to do the job then.

boro -- take it back, everytime you look at it, it will piss you off and life is too short to be pissed off by a watch

that tiny dot near the 9.... OMG thats huge nearly blocking what the time could be.. go back and complain.

Personally I don't think it would effect me.

not the point though, if YOU notice it, then it spoils the enjoyment of the watch

I know its not a big deal and doesnt affect the watch at all but now I know its there I cant help seeing it lol

Paint a bit of tip-ex on top so it looks like the white face :) seriously though it would annoy me!

Just as an aside, is it an expensive watch ??
