duff handling

Hi,new to the whole scooby scene, had a DC2 'teg before.
Starting to like the bug eye WRX i've got now tho apart from its sudden awful feeling when drving. There's a vuageness in the steering and a loose feeling in general. Brakes have gone off too, hoping just front pads, already done rear pads and discs.
Appreciate any words of wisdom.

Welcome. WRX's are notoriously 'soft', with gobs of understear - not what you want in a first scooby, especially coming from a 'teg (I owned a DC5).

Good initial cheap, and almost essential upgrade - swap your reararb out for a 22mm arb. This will firm everything up nicely

Whiteline adjustable would be the way to go

All the UK classic turbo's and wrx's have that over assisted steering where you can get vagueness in there, if you wanted less then the STI with the quicker steering racks are a better bet (UK cars have the fast rack which is a 15:1 ratio and the JDM's run a quick rack which is a 13:1 ratio).

Toy:)
