HELP SCOOBY WONT START

Hi all im desperate for some advised on my classic impreza. Right the problem is i took my car out for a blast when it started to cut out as if ran out of fuel. I managed to get the car home iv had a look at it and now came to a blank with ideas right the fault is the car will fire up for a second and cut straight out but there is a loud rush of fuel coming from the fuel rail much louder than nomal iv changed the fuel regulator and tried new injectors and its still the same any ideas would be very gratefull :)

so youve changed injectors.pressure reg etc etc coz it ran out of fuel? How much fuel have you put in. If suggest a min of 20 litres if it ran out so the pump filter sock is covered. Can you hear the pump prime?
