I was just about to start a thread saying about how modern music is crap to some years ago.

I mean things like lasco and clubland 5 - 12 (i was too young for 1-4)

yEP, REAL DANCE MUSIC IS STILL VERY MUCH THE UNDERGROUND. eVERY NOW AND AGAIN

Yep, real dance music is still very much the underground. Every now and then a particular genre of the dance music spectrum will delve into the commercial charts sometimes doing more harm than good and portraying the incorrect image of that genre. Sometimes it gives good exposure, sometimes bad. Trance was it in the 90's, house was around 2003-2006, then electro was the bandwagon to be hoisted onto and more recently dubstep. Every man and his dog want a piece of dubstep now, most of it sh1t chart pap.

To quote a certain Paul Van Dyk - "Trance has become a dirty word. Thanks to Ian Van Dahl, Lasgo, Flip 'N' Fill and DJ Sammy, a generation of kids has grown up thinking trance is the shittiest music since country and western."

Someone will no doubt say ALL Trance music is sh1t, but they're gay :D

As soon as I saw TC1992 I was going to post On Ya Way :thumb:

The wife and I were at Bowlers for the Life revival at weekend, saw K Klass, Baby D, Shades of Rhythm, Dream Frequency and Ultracynic amongst the DJ sets, Can't wait for the night in October :D

A mate that I used to DJ with has put a few sets up that will be of interest, they can be downloaded too, have a look .. http://clubfriendly.podomatic.com/

If Mrs Leslie wasn't out at the shops we would have been jiving to good old Glenn, what a star he was!

I was told that the top tune in 1942 was "Run Rabbit Run"

Thats class!
