gauge pods

Guys looking for recommendations for places to buy a reasonably priced 3 gauge pod for my 2005 blobeye prosport gauges, not decided if to go centre or side mounted yet ?? does the centre mounted pod just fit over where the clock is ??

take it side mounting is a bit easier regards hiding wiring etc ?? any other benefits over side / centre mounting ??

dont mind buying via ebay if I know its decent quality.

any advice would as always be very much appreciatted

52 or 60mm guages ?

I've never seen an a pillar 3 guage pod in a 60mm size for the Blob. There are some stateside but you would have to ask your passenger for the readings LOL

From what I read just the other day on here, the ebay pods are to be avoided. It would be better in the long run to go to one of the slightly more expensive ones from companies like Scoobyworld?

Yep no problem in saying that mate a lot off the tuning comapnies now advertse via ebay so that cant all be bad, yes I do appreciatte some off the very cheap ones should be avoided at all costs but just wonder if there is any mid range priced worth looking at ??

still a bit confused about where the centre pod goes on the blobeye does it just fit over the clock itself ??

no one got a suitable pod for sale - centre / side mounted ??

the centre pod fit in where the clock sits, and all wiring sit underneath so u wont see anything,
i have the ATI pod in mine with 52mm prosport and the pod is the closest to the OEM colour u can get, but its around 150 just for the pod

im sure the zerosports pod which is rare has a slot in the bottom to help retain the original clock

Would you be able to post some pics of the ATI pod ?? Like the OP I want to fit some gauges. Something that is close to OEM looking sounds ideal for me.

Here's and ATI one, the fit is good once it's clipped down.

Okay thanks guys appreciatte the info / pics, yep must admitt the ATI one does look very good just a bit reluctant to pay this sort off money on a pod itself when others are available at a fraction off this price although do appreciatte that a cheap one wont be in keeping with the rest off the car.

no one recommend any other centre pods worth considering that are not so expensive ??

jono300 28 July 2011 12:38 PM

Well seems s/hand quality 3 gauge 60 mm newage pods are very rare to find so it looks as if I am either going to find the extra for one off the quality ATI ones or just go for a cheaper version and hope that once sprayed up it looks okay ??!!

comments on this one guys ??
