The weeks trip and alton towers is not an option i prefer the car but think i,ll just let her and my kid go seems a win win situation
|
Disney is too over rated tbh plus it costs big bucks. How old is your son?
|
Send them to Disney Land and buy the car while they are away. What can she do? She's not even in the country :D

Family is more important than any chunk of metal with four wheels, your son will love however over rated it is......your not buying a holiday your paying for memories, the car can come later and the fact that you let her win and have the holiday can only mean more cash to be spent at a later date on the car ;-)
|
Staying at home whilst the wife took the kids on a two week trip would be a dream for me, getting a car into the bargain would just be the icing on the cake !!!
|
have the best of both world's (sort of), send them the Disneyland PARIS and you buy a scooby, sorted :-)
or for the quiet life, shut up and do as you are told windyboy |
Personally if I were you then I'd forget about the car.
Disneyland Paris is more expensive than Florida and has shyte weather. At least in Forida you're pretty much guaranteed good weather depending on the time of year. |
Florida :)
|
Car :-)
|
Another small issue, but if funds are that tight have you looked seriously at the running costs?
|
Florida matey without the doubt.

Divorce :D LOL
I just love Florida, been twice, 12 & 15 years ago and remember it like yesterday :D I didn't realise it was so long ago till I wrote that ;) so just do it  I cant wait to have grandkids to take again :D Family is everything so forget the car, It's unforgetable and truely special, life is far to short IMHO ;) Tony |
Go on holiday and just save up a little longer for the car :thumb:

Thats what i do, my missis is going to spain with our son next Thirsday, on friday it goes in for 1300 quids worth of work:thumb: What she dont know wont hurt her...... As for you m8, def. go for the car... Just tell her (in a very concerned / loving way) there is a pandemic sweeping usa, and because they are both your world and you wouldnt ever want to loose them they would be better off staying in this country. But to make up for it you will go out and buy your son his first car, obviously you will have to um.. "Look after it" for the next few years untill he can drive! Simples:D |
You happy for the Mrs to go all that way on her own? What if she needs you? Don't want to put a downer on the situation however you never know what could happen and she may need you, how old is the son? Personally I would never let my Mrs go on her own, thats not because I'm an over protective over bearing psycho, it's just a long way to go and if anything did happen it would take a while to get there. Think about it carefully, cars are cars, you can always get one another time.

Go on holiday with the family, life is short with your son, soon he will be off with his mates and you and the mrs won't get a look in, enjoy it while you can theres plenty of time for cars.
