Just to let you all know, I am taking the car to the races again, this time at Llandow, competing in a round of the TRIDENT WELSH SPRINT & HILLCLIMB CHAMPIONSHIP, along with other championships, pop along if you fancy a laugh or two.

And on sunday I am competing at Llys-Y-Fan Hillclimb down by Haverfordwest.

Great day at Llandow sprint today, seen John putting his car through its paces plus many stunning cars going full throttle.

Couldn't really choose any certain car that was good today, just so many to choose from like the single seaters, bike engined kit cars, John's scooby, Pug 205 RWD, Mk2 Escorts, Mini's.

Gonna pop down to the hill climb tomorrow, thats if I can find it.

Just head for Llys y fran reservoir Matt, its right by it.

Had a good afternoon over llandow, john i'm really impressed with the way the car goes, i think you were as well with the adrenaline rush you had after your couple of laps :thumb:

john, what was your lap time on saturday & how did the hill climb go ?

Thanks for the comments guys, learnt a lot about the car in the wet on the saturday, pulling 6th gear down the back straight either means my gearing is to short or my gonads have grown :D:cuckoo:. and also got a surprise at the end of the meeting, I picked up a class win, but then there was only me in the class so did not expect any thing, but did gain a a handful of championship pionts.

Headded for the hillclimb at Llys-y-Fan that evening with a suspect clutch problem, and sure enough by the end of the day it cried enough, but I had done enough to gain some more championship pionts as well as a final signiture for a licence upgrade, which means I can go up against the big boys in the British championship next season.

All in all a very enjoyable w/e was had, but the most important thing was time in seat that I gained.
