Bet that guy driving in the video could make it as a rally driver and win a few rallies as well, he's certainly got talent.

What, don't you think he's good enough then ?

Looks impressive driving to me, can't be much harder doing rallies.

BOB.T 14 July 2011 11:04 PM

Winning a WRC event, how hard can it be? :D

No really, he's sh!t on stage. I'd beat him in my road car just because I could get it round without writing it off! :D

Its the Vince Clarke remix of 'behind the wheel' :thumb:

jsh1 15 July 2011 01:47 PM

Lol, Ken Block is ok in a car park, but put him on a real stage and he can't hold a candle to the top WRC drivers.

The current crop of WRC talent are in a different league to him. I am not sure he would compete at a National level, let alone Internationally

Don't think that demonstration had any connection to rally driving really.

I assume anyone who criticises his ability is capable of doing the same only to a higher level.

Very impressive car control in my book.

Les

JackClark 15 July 2011 02:24 PM

You're spot on Leslie, it's not a rally car at all it's a completely different beast and Ken's doing a cracking job. You can see his number of attempts written on the road, not too shabby in my book.

EH52WRX 16 July 2011 07:18 AM

I preferred the tunes over the driving.

scoobygreg 16 July 2011 08:40 AM

great tune, great driving but a different thing to rallying , hes more a stunt driver than a rally driver

SirFozzalot 16 July 2011 08:50 AM

There's no question he's a good driver, in fact he finished 2nd overall in the Rally America National Championship in 2008 (3rd in 2007 & 2nd in 2006).

Shows the abilities of the top WRC drivers is quite outstanding.

It probably suggests how poor the standard of rallying is in America more than anything.

As a demonstration driver, he is exceptional, as a rally driver, less than average

Im sure he's not too fussed about the SN opinion of him. Doing what he loves and already minted. I didnt actually realise until earlier this year that he was one of the founders of DC Shoes :)

JackClark 16 July 2011 11:19 AM

His car number of 43 is somewhat related to DC.
