I live really close to junction 8, I used to see a blue st all the time pulling people, not randomly though I'm sure they where up to no good! If you looked carefully you could see a police sign un lit attached to the rear screen!
|
There is also a matt black RS500, Black MK5 Astra SRi Turbo, Red Astra VXR, Asbo Orange Focus ST patroling the M3 and M25...
|
Surrey Police have several Focus ST's, and a R36 Passat
|

what an absolute waste of tax payers money, firstly for the amount of money the police have shelled out for these kind of cars for and secondly the sheer amount of fuel they must consume just patrolling about being a nuisance. Up my way they drive an evo, M5 and a black STI, it disgusts me!
Bullied at school?.........Join the Police! |
There are quite a few marked and unmarked Focus ST's knocking about round the country. Quite a few will have the Mountune upgrade on them too, so 260PS and 400Nm. Certainly all Warwickshire Police's ST's have the Mountune kit on them.
Cant see them having an RS though and certainly not an RS500. |

A lot of these M5, Focus RS etc, are proceeds of crime vehicles, bought by the Police for modest sums, sometimes they only pay the storege charges accumalated while cases into them are ongoing.

Oh, and there's no such thing as a "random stop check." Legally they aren't allowed to. They need probable cause or suspicion... so if told its a random stop, think... what have I done wrong? |
