Bugeye STi Motor Needed

As a follow on to my previous thread regarding being ripped off and being sold a bugeye sti with a duff motor, i am testing the water to see if it is worth getting mine reconditioned, or a straight replacement put in..

Must be an excellent runner (Dont need another dog thanks), pref. sub 50k milage and 2002 Sti so will go straight in, no pi$$in about.

Let me know what you have got and prices please...
Long or short motor - all concidered.

I am over the garage on sat morning to have a chat about which way to go, so would be good to have my options by then.

Cash waiting for right deal.

I think its Eclipse doing a full bottom end rebuild in and out for 1.5k. Look in the Trader announcements.

Hi Myles, thanks mate, they took good value tbh, do you know anyone who has had their car done by them and can vouch for them, obviously i am 10 times more careful now...

I don't blame you! I only saw them advertising here, it may be worth asking the question on here again.

hi pal we can offer an version 7 sti long motor for £1450, just bolt your intelmaifold, turbo and ancillaries on drop her in and away you go, i am sure mark at thwaites will vouch for our products/service as we deal with them often, removed from a 2002 v7 sti with 48000 on the clock sweet engine we do not sell dud parts as it is not worth loosing our reputation in the subaru comunity,
