Not lightly.Horrible to get to and a horrible place to be once you get there.

Ive never been, but these testimonials are ensuring I dont ever go!

it wont be busy at this event.

I agree with Jay and Richie.

The place is a shambles.

They cram in as many people as possible, the 'marshalls' in the car park are 14 year old kids, costs a fortune (for what it is) it's a nightmare to get out, and that's assuming your car hasn't been nicked. Even the display cars get nicked now (Japspeed Impreza).

Of course the people on the gates/security know nothing about it ;)

Last time i went (and last time i will ever go) it took me longer to get out the car park then it took to get from the exit gates to Gatwick Airport!!!

anyone going to fast 5 this week at the pod? its a closed to the public event. i know there are a limited number of spaces for each day, and was wondering of any other scoobs are going? I know of 1 other scoob so far

Universal studios have rented out santa pod for 2 days for the exclusive dvd release of fast 5 and there is a privert drag day for it and for the media

also ive been to the pod to various shows and never had any issues !
only the fact tghat there are always a load of twats that go for the birds and the rave tent and happen to drive a rusty golf with 15" halfords alloys and d.i.y tinted windows and a wonky 5" back box :D

is this to make up for the lack of cars in the film?

do you have to tow a safe?

I was there today. Great day. The clinics car was on form. The burnouts were wild lol. I had my family daily drive wagon on the track for the 1st time great buz. will have my lid with me tomorrow mr scooby clinic driver if a passanger ride is possible????

always had a great time at the pod the kids love it and had a great time supprised so many neg comments

we have been invited back to the pod today (Friday) to perform again. :thumb:

This time they are fitting an in car camera to catch the reactions of the celebs we are to take down the strip. :D

Yesterday Mikee managed a 9.68 with a fluffed launch and a 10.2 with a passenger in. :cool:

Should be fun.

what a carp day, weather was rubbish, and spent all the time getting wet or in the car.

It was a bit of a let down today, shame about that
Got some good runs in yesterday though
Managed a 13.1 with 3/4 tank and a passenger
Should be good for mid 12s I think:D

I did beat the clinics car down the strip once though:wonder:
And have the print out to prove it:D
