New wheels for the ride

Hello everyone
Done a few bits and pieces to the ride this month, the wallet got absolutely spanked to say the least!
-The car had a service
- Map got tweaked on the rolling road
-New brake discs and pads at the front
- New wheels
- Arches rolled to fit the wheels
- Braided hoses

I will let the pics do the talking.....

Heres how it looked before...

Heres how its looking now....

Opinions welcome, I'm thinking of ditching the mudflaps but not 100% sure yet. I'm much happier with the look of the car exterior wise, think i'm going to add a tow hook to the rear and a bit of carbon, then get it detailed.

I would like to thank Neil and Matt at Slowboy racing for the various bits and pieces they have done recently, Duncan (Race Dynamix) for his mapping skills and also arch-enemy for the arch rolling.

Thanks
Matthew

Cheers Dave.

They are indeed rota grid drifts 18x9.5's, a 5mm spacer was needed on the front to clear the brembos- so I stuck a 5mm spacer on the rear too for the hell of it lol. The arch rolling was £30 a corner and I needed all four corners doing, probably could of got away with not having the front done but it was sitting pretty low and they would of rubbed. I didnt buy these new, got a good deal second hand but new your looking at about £1100 with a fairly good set of tyres. The tyres on these are 225 40 18.
I hope that helps.

That is awesome. Looks the dogs boll*cks!

Loving the choice of rims. I would stick with the mud flaps!

gorgeous

Gary WRX 05 July 2011 09:54 AM

They look absolutely stunning mate I've been thinking about an anthracite set for my blobeye. Do they fit without modifying the wheel arches?

Thanks mate. Depends what width you go for but I wanted a more aggressive look so went for wider ones and needed to have all four arches rolled.

Abx 05 July 2011 11:15 AM

Looks much better, think I agree on loosing the flaps.

Dazza9t9 05 July 2011 11:48 AM
