Andy forrest td-05?

Hi, I know the AF td-04 gives you the early spool but holds boost longer. Just wondering what the AF td-05 gives you performance wise? Is it the power and higher rpm boost holding with earlier spool than normal td-05 or is it just a reconditioned standard unit? Sorry if this has been asked before but I've had a search and couldn't find anything on here or AF website.

Thanks

AFAIK it's a reconditioned OEM TD05 - 16G converted from Side to front entry if required for later model cars.

The TD04 you mentioned is his "hybrid" version and is a modified OEM unit.

Cheers for that bid. So if I've got a used front entry converted td-05 from a fellow club member that's in good working order I needn't bother with one?

That's how I have always understood it. I got my TD05 16 from Andy Forrest and it was a front entry conversion OEM unit.

I also got my TD05 18G from Andy forrest and that was sourced from Deadbolt enterprises in the USA.

The TD05 from a scooby member should be identical.
