Poor Boy Cleaning Products
 

hi all,

has anyone tried Poor Boy Cleaning products?

I nipped to a local shop today and was looking at the range of Poor Boy cleaning products they stock. At first i thought it looked really cheap but they used a bit of the poorboy SRS1 and it listen some glue that I was trying to get off for months.

I am just wondering if anyone else has tried any of the other products they have

A very good mid-range brand, I use there wheel sealant which is excellent!

The labels look cheap, the products work. I use Poorboys Black Hole Glaze and Poorboys Nattys Blue Wax. Both do a fantastic job on dark colours, the fleck really pops!

my car used to have full rally graphics which I got removed about 6 months ago. The garage did a crap job and at the bottom of all the doors there is loads of glue ect and it really spoils the paint work.

Today the shop used a tiny amount the the srs1 to show me, and I have to say it was amazing. It lifted the glue and made the paint work look spot on.

They had sold out of the srs1 or I would have bought it straight away.

If the other stuff is good I might get some of the shampoo/polish/wax ect

Check out the range from "Dodo juice" now that's amazing stuff :notworthy

do you know what the dodo juice alternative to the srs1 would be? srs1 is a fine grit that will take off glue, swirl marks ect

I've used their products over the last 5 or so years. As previously mentioned, the Black hole glaze and Natty's blue are greaton darker colours. Black Hole works great on lighter colours too. Trim restorer is good too . I like the natural look interior dressing, it can be used to produce a natural or glossy finish. Take a look on www.detailingworld.com

Poorboys stuff is bang for buck.

I have there waxes and Wheel Sealant that I use on other cars as I use BF Midnight sun on my own car for wax.

There suds (Super Slick & Suds Concentrated Car Wash) I found left water marks for some reason. But they could be due to wax of the car beeding well etc.

Best product they do is the Natural Look Dressing. I use that on my interior and lip on my spoiler of my car. And there drying towels.

a big part of mine and my mate who's a pro detailer is made up of poor boys,
i would rate poor boys over do-do juice, using there natty's paste currently.
If your spending that sort of money then there is zaino and chemical guys.
burberry wheel cleaner for wheels too.

+1 for autosmart tardis to remove the glue.

And was quite amazed at how easy the products are to use and how great they smell.
Also quite pleased at how little of the product you have to use to get a great result and more importantly great value for money imo.

Is that a beige or blue tartan look wheel cleaner ;)

Well cleaned my car today using the Poorboy stuff and I have to say what a fantastic product.

The car looks awesome and the glue from the previous decals came straight off, this was after I have used other products that did not shift it.

I would recommend Poorboy to any one!!

poorboys is a good all round range of products & good value for money, i used practically all of it over the years

I use Poorboys exclusively on my Mica Blue Bug - So easy to use even in full sun and gives a great finish (OK not Blackfire quality) for a very reasonable price.
